Linda’s Story

Born and raised in the small town of Salida, Colorado, my sister and I left as teens to live with our father in Conifer, Colorado, and graduated from Evergreen. I moved back to Salida and a couple years later married my husband, John, who was a policeman for the city. We had three wonderful boys (not always so wonderful as boys will be boys) and moved to Grand Junction in 1995, when our youngest went to Miami to college. Our oldest son, Bradley, his wife and our first grandson had already moved here and encouraged us to move. I’ll never regret that move. We LOVE it here in the Grand Valley.

I worked in the healthcare industry for the past 29 years and was self-employed as a medical transcriptionist for my own corporation for the past 20. Technology caught up and with phones that talk to us, my love for transcription recently ended. Visiting a friend in Salida last summer she asked me, “Why don’t you get into real estate again?” (I previously was a Realtor® there in the late 70s and early 1980s). I took the on-line course and successfully passed the broker exam in September 2017.

I love meeting and working with new people; I love helping others find their dream home. I love the challenge the real estate industry is. I look forward to providing quality service to my clients in all their real estate needs. Give me a call. I’ll work hard for you!
