I moved to Grand Junction over 25 years ago with my best friend and now husband of 27 years to escape the craziness of California. Despite the initial culture shock, my husband and I stayed in Grand junction and, after living in several parts of the Grand Valley, settled on acreage in beautiful Palisade/East Orchard Mesa. The drive home is long, extending almost to the base of Horse Mountain, but by the time you get there, there is a sense of peace and it is calming to the soul!
We decided to take the road less traveled and adopted two beautiful children who constantly keep us on our toes and teach us about unconditional love and perseverance. Despite the challenges of parenthood, and don’t kid yourself -there are many, it is so rewarding watching these kiddos grow and change on a daily basis. I have decided that the newly acquired gray hairs and “worry wrinkles” are actually worth it! I couldn’t do this job (parenthood) without my sensible, calm and easy going husband by my side!
I am incredibly fortunate to live very near my amazing parents, who continue to offer love, support and encouragement. I am very lucky to see these beautiful people every day! Oh, and I definitely can’t leave out my pooches. They keep me centered and calm on a frazzled day.
I wouldn’t want to go through life without my family and my dogs!
I have been in the real estate industry in one way or another for most of the 25 years we have lived here, owning and operating a home design business.
Recently, I came to my senses, realized my passion, and became a real estate broker. I love houses and have a passion for either finding the perfect home for a buyer or the “not so perfect home” and thinking outside the box on how to renovate to make it the perfect home for someone!
Buying or selling a home is a major event in our lives. I want to be there to help you every step of the way. Give me a call if you are looking for a new home or want to sell your current home. You won’t be disappointed!
